Your security is our highest priority. Incent works to protect your personal information, prevent unauthorised account access, and notify you of unusual activity.
We use the following security measures to actively protect you:
Your personal information is entered through Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which creates an encrypted connection between your browser and our servers. This information is kept encrypted at all times. Your bank login credentials are stored securely using multi-layered hardware and software encryption. We only store the information needed to save you the trouble of updating, syncing or uploading financial information manually.
Military Grade Security
Military grade encryption refers to what’s called AES-256 encryption. Short for Advanced Encryption Standard, it was the first publicly accessible and open cipher approved by the National Security Agency (NSA) to protect information at a “Top Secret” level. It is now widely-accepted as the strongest encryption there is – and used by governments, militaries, banks and other organisations across the world to protect sensitive data.
Please refer to this post if you would like more technical detail
We are PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ) certified which means Incent achieved the relevant information security standard required for organisations that handle credit cards.
Read Only Access
Incent provides a strictly “read-only” view of your transaction information so that we can reward you. Your online banking usernames and passwords are never displayed or stored after you enter them during your first session
